Position: TRAVEL PROGRAMS COORDINATOR

Full/Part - Time: Full Time, Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm, May include some weekend and evening work as required
Location: On Site at Sensors Quality Management Inc.
Salary: $33,000.00 Per Year Plus Benefits

This person will report to the Travel Programs Manager of Sensors Quality Management Inc. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: 

FIELD RESOURCES DUTIES:

  • Market select programs to SQM’s field force, as well as individuals from outside the SQM family

  •  Recruit and train new inspectors 

  • Work with internal departments, to complete such duties as:  recruiting, assigning, training, and follow-up 

  • Schedule assignments for the SQM field force 

  • Processing payments and refunds 

  • Edit and track incoming inspection reports 

  • Track the quality and quantity of inspections 

  • Adjust programs to ensure success 

  • Provide technical support to SQM’s field force and clients 

  • Act as a liaison between inspectors and SQM management 

  • Provide customer service to inspectors and act as their inside contact 

  • Participate as a key planner in the growth and development of the programs 

EDITOR DUTIES:

  • Edit incoming reports (i.e. Mystery Shops, surveys, etc.)
  • Proofread documents (i.e. forms, instructions, marketing materials, manuals, newsletters etc.)
  • Data Entry

field resources duties:     

  • Posting advertisements for potential recruitment purposes
  • Recruiting and hiring SQM Representatives
  • Keeping the database current with active SQM Representatives
  • Communicating effectively with the Operations and Editing Departments in order to keep Field Resources information current 

MARKETING DUTIES:

  • Maintain a presence on blogs, forums, and social networking sites
  • Manage the day-to-day responsibilities of social media sites – monitor the conversation and respond to issues as they arise
  • Develop and implement direct mail and / or direct email campaigns

miscellaneous duties:

  • Other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will possess or currently be working towards a Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Corporate Communications, Hospitality Tourism Management, or Human Resources Management.  A background in customer service, recruiting, travel or sales is a definite asset.  This is a fast paced and deadline oriented office so the ability to coordinate multiple projects and multi-task assignments are important skills.  In addition, a critical eye for detail and outstanding organizational skills are a must.  Strong communication skills (both written and oral) are required for this position.  The successful candidate must be able to work independently as well as being an active member of the team.   Experience and comfort in a computerized environment, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, social media and the internet is essential, while an understanding of Lotus Notes would be an asset.  Enthusiasm, energy and a goal / results-oriented attitude are prerequisites.  Preference will be given to bilingual applicants especially those with a proficiency in English, French and Spanish.  Success in this position lends itself to career advancement within the organization.

Position: BILINGUAL (FRENCH) EDITOR / CALLER

Full - time and / or Part - Time: Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm - May include some weekend and evening work as required

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This person will report directly to The Editing Supervisor. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Editing incoming reports (i.e. Mystery Shops, surveys, etc.);
  • Proofreading documents (i.e. forms, instructions, marketing materials, manuals, newsletters etc.);
  • Data Entry;
  • Telephone Mystery Shops;
  • Telephone surveys;
  • Contacting SQM's Field Representatives;
  • Contacting potential Field Representatives;
  • Tracking calls;
  • Other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will possess or be currently working towards a Degree, Diploma or Major in French, Literature, Linguistics, or Translation. A critical eye for detail is essential for the position. A working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Email and the Internet is mandatory. An understanding of Lotus Notes would be an asset. The ability to be comfortable making telephone calls is required. Strong communication (both written and oral) and outstanding organizational skills are a must.   • Reception and multi-line switchboard duties
  • Preparation and distribution of communications (mail/faxes/email enquiries, etc.)
  • Writing of correspondences
  • Preparing contractual paperwork
  • Inventory control of office supplies and equipment
  • Monitoring and ordering of office supplies and equipment

Position: LEAD GENERATOR

THE POSITION

Sensors Quality Management Inc. is presently looking to add a Lead Generator to our team. The main focus of this position is to identify potential clients for SQM, through various telephone and online activities. Although this position is part of SQM’s Sales and Marketing Department, there are no specific sales activities associated with the role.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This employee reports directly to the President, but will also be liaising with the Sales and Marketing Team. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Completing short telephone surveys (NOT SALES CALLS) to assist in identifying potential clients
  • Researching and identifying industry contacts

  • Building direct mail and direct email lists

The successful candidate should possess a diploma or degree in Business Management or Marketing, or have experience in a progressive sales position. Strong communication skills, (both oral and written) are required for this position. Creativity and excellent time management skills are essential. A large amount of this work will involve time on the telephone as well as on the computer, so the successful candidate must be comfortable completing these tasks on a regular basis. Position: SALES MANAGER - FIELD MERCHANDISING SERVICES

Full/Part - Time: Full Time

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Due to our recent expansion into Field Merchandising, we would like to aggressively grow this area of our business. As a result, Sensors Quality Management Inc. is currently looking to add a Sales Manager - Field Merchandising Services to our growing team. Although the main focus of this position will be to sell Field Merchandising Services, the person will also be responsible for generating sales of SQM's other services. This position reports directly to the President of the company.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Acquiring new business leads;

  • Following up on internal leads;

  • Developing relationships with new clients;

  • Negotiating pricing structures with existing and potential clients;

  • Developing and negotiating contracts;

  • Managing the transition of new clients to the Operations Department;

  • Maintaining rapport with existing clients;

  • Strategic planning and value enhancement;

  • Client care and client satisfaction management;

  • Conduct research on market development;

  • Assess marketing and sales opportunities;

  • Assist in developing new marketing strategies;

  • Networking and developing industry knowledge and expertise; and

QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate should possess a degree in Business Management or Marketing, or have experience in a progressive sales position. A vehicle is mandatory, as well as a valid drivers license and current insurance. The successful candidate must be able to work independently, and also be an active member of the team.
