Sensors Quality Management Inc. is a company passionate about giving back to the community.

Co-founders, David Lipton and Craig Henry each sit on several boards, and are regularly invited to speak with students, graduates, and the public about a variety of topics and issues.

Both David and Craig believe that youth are the future. As such, they heavily support a variety of children's charities, and do whatever they can to help young professionals reach their goals.

Each year, SQM offers multiple internships, co-ops, and work placement opportunities to students, young professionals, and new Canadians, in order to help them launch their careers. The experience gained during their time with the company is extremely valuable, with approximately 75% of participants finding employment, in the field of their choice, within five weeks of completing the program.

In addition to supporting children and youth initiatives, SQM also follows the guidelines set out by Canada's Imagine Caring Companies, committing at least one percent of pre-tax profits to charity.

While SQM supports a variety of charities, both financially and though gifts in kind, the company is most proud of the many employee hours devoted to a number of causes. Whether feeding the homeless, collecting toys during the holiday season, or supporting women and youth shelters, SQM cares!

It should also be noted that SQM's corporate contributions are complimented by many staff who actively donate their own time and money to the charities of their choice.
